My name is Alex and I am a wedding & lifestyle photographer based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba but will travel with you wherever your heart takes you!

 

I realized I had a passion for weddings in 2013 when I decided University wasn't for me and decided to pursue wedding & event planning! I got my certification for the WPIC and shortly after started working with Divine Weddings.

 

After assisting with many weddings and seeing the incredible images all the local photographers would capture, I was envious of their job and decided to buy my first "nice" camera and see if I had what it took to become a wedding photographer. Many Youtube videos later and bugging my friends to take their photos I booked my first wedding!

I am so grateful that I get to do this everyday and travel the world capturing so many couple's love stories!

My Style

​

I love lifestyle photos - meaning natural moments that happen in natural surroundings!

​

Candids are my favourite! I definitely try not to over pose my couples and while everyone needs direction and I will tell you what looks great but I love when my couples interact and snuggle up. No awkward prom photos here - I'll get ya moving around to get the most natural photos I can!

​

I love shooting outdoors and my editing style reflects true colors just like you see it through your eyes. I want you to look back at your wedding photos and relive that day the way you saw it when it happened. I don't want to be putting any trendy filters on your images that will be out of style 5, 10, 20 years from now. 

​

I shoot with two trusty Nikon D750's and my favourite lenses are my Sigma 35mm and Sigma 85mm!

A bit more about me

I recently married the love of my life in September of 2018. So couples, I FEEL YA with the stresses of wedding planning!

​

I have the most amazing husband, Chad and we are the best cat parents to our two little(big) babies Luxe & Nelson

​

I could eat popcorn for every meal, every day for the rest of my life.

​

I love travelling, I've been to many different countries in Europe, Asia, and Central America and travelled through Canada and the US. I've spent 10 months is South East Asia and absolutely love going new places and making new friends!
